Georgetown Engagement Photos with Towson Alumni!

You know when you meet people who radiate light? Like, you don’t have to work at all to have a great conversation or enjoy the time together because they just bring this bubbly energy with them everywhere they go? Brad & Liesl were like that. And when they asked for Georgetown engagement photos, I said heck yeah!
Sunset Evenings
They radiated love as we romped around Georgetown, along the waterfront, through the streets, and along the C&O Canal. It was a VERY humid and hot summer evening, but they wore their finest breathable linens (cute as heck, I might add), and we dodged crowds of people donning and undonning masks to get the shots we wanted by the water. The sunset was STUNNING, so all we had to do was enjoy, dance around, and talk about what delicious food we were going to eat afterwards.

“Love is an emerald.
Its brilliant light wards off dragons
On this treacherous path.”
Rumi

There were a bunch of other photographers there that evening hankering for Georgetown engagement photos, but everyone was so kind and respectful, allowing each other space and making sure not to walk through shots. I LOVE WHEN PEOPLE ARE THOUGHTFUL. UHH, it’s just the best. OH! And funny story about the above image…we were incredibly jealous of this shirtless dude taking on the evening on his oh-so-fancy stand up paddle board, and Liesl joked about using a photo of him as their wedding announcement. So, I said, alright, go kiss and he’ll become a lasting memory until the end of our days. We couldn’t stop laughing, and it ended up being one of our favorite images of the evening simply for that reason. 😂

Brad and I went to high school together, so getting to reconnect and capture his journey was so lovely! Brad and Liesl met at Towson University, and with Liesl as a nurse at Georgetown Hospital, this area is one of their favorite places to adventure.

Witnessing their love was truly uplifting, and I’m so excited for everything to come! These softer, quieter moments are my favorite 🙂 Hope you enjoyed! To see a few more photos, check out their album here! And want a little outfit inspiration? Check out my Pinterest board!
