Couples Christmas Photos: The Barnes
Frederick MD Photographer
When Céire messaged me about last minute couples Christmas photos and her idea, I got so excited. Céire, her husband Mike, and their dog Harley were closing in a few days on their new townhome and wanted to mark the occasion with a photoshoot!
I may be biased, but I think photoshoots are an excellent special date night and activity to mark special times of your life. For their couples Christmas photos, we decided to start in-home to capture snapshots of their life. From there we took a walk around the neighborhood! You better believe we got out the festive mugs, hot chocolate, and whipped cream. Even better was when they all snuggled on the couch to look over their wedding album from last year! They were married on New Years Eve of last year, and the love from these newlyweds can be felt in the room! Feeling the love hanging in the air is probably my favorite thing about photographing.
Couples Christmas Photos
No photoshoot is complete without the family animals. I mean, let’s be honest, they are like our children. So, when I say “couples Christmas photos”, I really mean a family affair with their labradoodle Harley in tow. Harley is five years old, a sweet snuggler, and incredibly curious soul. He also has quite an interest in attempting to use his paws in a humanlike fashion to open gifts…he was almost successful. But mainly, he wanted to ask me questions about my camera and what lenses I was using and try directing the shots, ha!
Gettin’ Cozy
After running around outside, we headed back to pop champagne to celebrate their new home! I was especially excited for them to celebrate because these two work to serve others, as a teacher and firefighter. It has been a tough fall, and we are so grateful for their commitment now more than ever.
Check out their cozy couples Christmas photos session and let me know what you think!
